The University of Warwick Boat Club, whose members memorably posed nude for one of our favorite naked sportsman calendars, have done another service for the gays in opening the UK’s first LGBT training center.

PinkNews reports:

The LGBT Health and Wellbeing Centre in Birmingham will address the problems of health inequalities that LGBT people face in Birmingham, the second largest city in the UK. The centre is part funded by the National Lottery.

“We are thrilled to be launching the UKs first dedicated fitness space with the Warwick Rowers,” said Centre manager Dave Viney. “It’s great to see homophobia in sport and homophobic bullying creatively challenged by a predominantly heterosexual sports team.”

Well-known for their penchant for nudity in the name of charity, the rowers are donating a portion of the funds raised from their annual naked calendar to Ben Cohen’s anti-bullying StandUp Foundation. And they like to give a little taste of the calendar via their Twitter account — a sort of a-nude-bouche, if you will. Meanwhile, this year, the ladies of Warwick are getting in on the action for the first time, stripping down for a calendar of their own with sales going towards Macmillan Cancer Support. The UK’s Warwick Rowers, those round-buttocksed angels, are taking you behind the scenes of their annual naked calendar, proceeds from which partially benefit anti-bullying and anti-homophobia programs. We’re kind of openly obsessed with them and they’re kind of openly aware of it. To feed our hunger for more of their lithe, limey bodies, they came up with a very naked “making of” video. Hot on the heels of ESPN’s incomparable Body Issue, another gay holiday is quickly approaching: The annual release of the Warwick Rowers Naked Calendar.

The hunks of the University of Warwick’s rowing team pose for their award-winning calendar in the buff each year, donating a portion of the proceeds to organizations dedicated to combating homophobia in professional sports.

Last year, they donated a large chunk of profit to Sport Allies, a nonprofit that assists young people facing homophobia, bullying, and low self-esteem.

This week, images from the upcoming 2015 calendar were shared on Twitter. It appears that these boys are getting more risqué with each passing year, but we’re not complaining:

Not to be outdone by the recent reveal of Tom Daley’s too-hot 2015 calendar, the hot jocks of the University of Warwick rowing club are back again this week to tease their own upcoming calendar launch.

Earlier this month, the boys released a few photos from the 2015 Warwick Rowers calendar to much fanfare on Twitter. This week, they’ve sweetened the tease with an extended preview clip that takes you behind the scenes of the incredible completely nude shoot, which for some reason included an actual fire truck and plenty of large hose handling.

Huge props to the half of the team that allowed their teammates to sit on their shoulders in the buff. We didn’t think they’d take their mission to combat homophobia in sports so literally, but we’re certainly not complaining.

Because we can’t seem to go more than a few months before being sucked back into the mouth-watering vortex of the naked Warwick rowers fantasy, the boys are back in the buff in a new Croudfunder video.

Not only are these Grecian statues absurdly easy on the eyes, their annual calendar raises money to combat homophobia in sports. So double win.

And there’s certainly no homophobia here — the guys seem more than comfortable sitting on each others’ shoulders nude.

“For us, sports has been this happy place, where we’ve learned about ourselves and about each other,” says the chipper narrator of their latest promo.

With temperatures dipping down low across many parts of the world and the layers of clothing coming out of the closet to combat them, it can be easy to forget that anyone is ever really naked anymore.
